Writing…

March 7, 2011

Mood: not sleepy!

Place: home sweet home

Scene: now

Got some steam in me. To actually start writing.
Then lucky me. Got to be Dad’s easy cussing target as I’m busy doing ‘something he cant control’. (Nasty ol’ me huh. How could I.)
So writing’s been further reduced to when he’s not around or sleeping. Not a lot of time.

However I’m up & running tonight.
So…

PS- thanks so much again to folks who made me feel better about writing again…not expected!
Kindness of strangers 🙂 *warm fuzzy feel*

Pray for your Dad, and keep writing, and writing, and writing, and…well, you get the picture.

I learned to write in my head. When you can’t put in down on paper, map out what you want to write about in your head – even while he rants. You may not remember all the details, but you will have the foundation when you are ready to work the subject.

    Peace

      You are very welcome!

“But I say unto you that hear, Love your enemies, do good to them that hate you, bless them that curse you, pray for them that despitefully use you. To him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and from him that taketh away thy cloak withhold not thy coat also. Give to every one that asketh thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. And if ye love them that love you, what thank have ye? for even sinners love those that love them. And if ye do good to them that do good to you, what thank have ye? for even sinners do the same. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? even sinners lend to sinners, to receive again as much.

But love your enemies, and do them good, and lend, never despairing; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be sons (and daughters) of the Most High: for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil. Be ye merciful, even as your Father is merciful.”
      Luke 6:27-36

      Even unto our loved ones.

When we do this, we lay the burden at the feet of Jesus – the only One that can make a difference in the lives of those who often make our lives miserable.

The burden of resentment and anger is released, and we are free – free from the sin of unforgiveness. We then open the door to receiving mercy for ourselves, and forgiveness when we seek it for our own wrongs against heaven.

Often it is not easy, but spiritually necessary – and a great stress reliever.

Very happy to be in touch with you. God bless.

        Peace
